Description; General description; BTK is a tyrosine-protein kinase that modulates signaling, growth, and differentiation in B-lymphocytes. BTK also mediates cytoskeletal rearrangements and associates with Pin1 to regulate the cell-cycle dependent expression of BTK. Additionally, BTK signaling cascades are involved in regulation of calcium fluxes and transcription. Genetic alterations in BTK1 have been linked to X-linked aγglobulinemia [3][1][2]. Anti-BTK, N-Terminal antibody is specific for human BTK (75 kDa).
