Description General description For connecting 3/8 in. O.D. motor shaft to motor coupling. Used for isolating motor from stirring shaft. Designed with a ball bearing motor coupling at one end for connection to any motor with an 8 mm (5/16 in.) diam. shaft or other power source using an 8 mm diam. round steel adapter (included). The other end has a detachable handpiece with an 8 mm diam. round steel adapter for connection to a FLEX-GRIP® stirrer chuck (available separately). Handpiece is secured with a lab clamp. Shafts operate to 14,000 rpm in a counter-clockwise direction. Operating and service instructions for lubrication are supplied. Complete item includes: A flexible shaft, motor coupling for 8 mm shaft, handpiece with adapter for chuck, and a chuck wrench and chain.
